What can I do about the warrant?

I have a warrant issued for failure to appear. I never got the summons. What is the next step?

You have two choices. (1) get a bond on the FTA and appear next time, or (2) get arrested when you are pulled over for a traffic violation or the county runs a warrant sweep, etc. - sooner or later it will happen. Of course if this FTA is on a traffic ticket, there is a 3rd choice, pay the fine for both the traffic ticket and FTA - municipal courts just want the money, not you.

Either call an attorney and maybe they can take care of the warrant for you, if it is a traffic ticket. Or you need to call a bail bondsman, and pay out, then hire an attorney to represent you when you get out.

You will need to post a bond and then get a court date.
