What would likely happen if I turned myself in for possession of marijuana?

I was pulled over for no seatbelt. The officer claimed to smell marijuana and asked to search my car. I asked what for and he said that he saw what appeared to be marijuana "shake" in my floorboard. He told me to get out then opened my center console. He removed one pipe and less than a quarter ounce of marijuana. He called narcotics and the narcotics officer wants me to give him somebody in exchange for my freedom. He is giving me one week or I have to turn myself in. I just would like to know what would likely happen if I turned myself in. How long would I have to sit in jail? How much would I have to pay to get out?

Depending on the amount, it's probably a Class B Misdemeanor which is punishable up to $2,000.00 and 180 days in jail. You can also lose your license for up to 6 months. You really need to hire an attorney to protect yourself.
